Weber® coupling symmetrical adapter for Thule® trapezoidal drawbar, lockable, available before 6/2024
One of the major advantages of the Weber coupling system is that bicycle trailers from a wide range of manufacturers can be converted to this coupling system.
With this lockable drawbar connection from Weber®, the aluminium drawbar of the Thule® Sport, Thule® Cross, Thule® Lite and Thule® CAB children's bicycle trailers
can be converted to the Weber® system.
To do this, the existing drawbar must be shortened by between 8 and 12 cm, depending on the coupling, to ensure that the trailer is not attached too far off-centre.
However, this requires some manual skill and a drill with a 6.5 mm drill bit.
Detailed assembly instructions are of course included with delivery.
Suitable for children's bicycle trailers with a maximum towing load (total weight) of 80 kg.
The WEBER coupling system with its patented bayonet lock offers maximum ease of use, but is not approved for e-bikes and pedelecs travelling at speeds above 25 km/h!

We generally recommend having the conversion kit installed by a specialist dealer.
However, with a little technical skill, you can install the conversion kits yourself.
To do this, you will need a fork and/or ring spanner with a 10 mm wrench size, a 5 mm Allen key.
You will also need a drill with a 6.5 mm drill bit and a hacksaw.
However, as with all work, there is a risk of injury!
