Thule ProRide 598001 bike roof rack With the Thule ProRide bike roof rack, bikes weighing up to 20 kg can be loaded quickly and easily. A bike rack designed for upright bike transport. The clever designed frame holder and aluminium rail help with quick and easy loading. The torque limiter gives a clear signal when the bike is correctly secured. The wheel holders have been intelligently designed so that the diagonal rim straps secure the wheels well and prevent wobbling during transport. Thanks to a simple and tool-free change of the bike carrier from one side to the other, the bike can be loaded and secured from both sides of the vehicle.Further details are: The frame holder and wheel rails have a unique design that automatically holds the bicycle in the correct position. Quick and easy attachment, the torque limiter knob controls the torque acting on the bicycle frame for optimum hold. The pressure is distributed over large soft pads that adapt to the frame tubes of the bicycle, minimising the risk of frame damage. Secure fastening: the extension at the bottom of the frame holder claw prevents the bike from tipping over.Securely fastened wheels: the wheels are securely fastened in cleverly designed wheel holders using diagonal rim straps with a quick-release fastener. Easy conversion of the carrier from one side to the other without tools. Pre-assembled, no tools required. Locks to secure the wheel and bike carrier to the roof rack are included.  The locks and a lockable system can reduce the risk of theft, but are not a 100% guarantee against the risk of theft.
